Sad Morning

I was in my dreamland when my hubby's mobile rang. I asked what the time was. Oh no! It was 3am. I was thinking then who the caller was. And, it was my dad. My dad was very sad and he had no choice but to call me at wee hours. I was no surprised as this had been a frequent practice. My brother scolded my dad again. My mum joined in the heated argument. He wept. My heart broke. Tears welled up my eyes. I was quite mad with my brother and sister-in-law at first. My blood pressure shot up. But in a flash, I remember the sermon Pastor Mark preached. In no time, I cooled down and spoke in a rational tone. I listened and advised my dad to come over to my house. My dad decided to go home after airing his frustration to me. The call ended. I prayed silently. I must not let the demons take over by consciousness. I must not let the spirit of anger and spirit of wickedness to achieve their goal.

In Matthew 5:43-45
43 "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,[b] 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

I praised God and thanked Him for everything that I have. My hubby comforted me. I prayed for my sister-in-law. Amazingly, God has shed some light to me in the next few minutes. I somehow understand why my sister-in-law reacts negatively towards my dad. Yes, I must love my enemies and forgive those who hurt me and my family; Just like how God forgave us and cruxified on the cross to cleanse our sins. God's Words have touched me deeply.

I'm blessed

It may be sunny...or it may be raining... Who cares! I'm on the top of the world. I'm going to 'Beyond' Live Concert this Saturday. It will be their last concert. I have been idolizing them since my secondary school days. They are the only band that worth my $$ - cool & mature, got substance...unlike the band nowadays...This Saturday will be their last concert. I was kinda of disappointed when my friend told me the tickets were all out. So, I'm not dreaming. I usually watch them in TV during my KTV sessions with friends. And, this coming Saturday, I will be seeing them personally. Wow! I'm feeling great. My hubby managed to get the tickets. He hid them in my wardrobe. He had been telling me not to go out on 15 Oct 2005. He wanted to bring me out. I had been pestering him what the occasion was and where he wanted to bring me to. He kept silence whenever I asked. All he wanted was to give me a surprise on 15 Oct 2005. Until last Saturday, he gave me a hint. The hint was he kept the details in the master bedroom - a place I frequent visit was where he kept the details. Yes, I guessed it correctly - the wardrobe. And, I found the tickets hidden under the miscellaneous items.
