Feeling Blessed
I’m bored…In fact, I’ve no mood to do anything…I miss Adriel. Not sure what she is doing now. She must be playing with my mum-in-law. My mum-in-law is her caregiver while I’m working. She is also her playmate. I could see that my mum-in-law loves her a lot…she is also enjoying taking care of her. However, at times, she would not be able to take care of her due to some reasons but I do appreciate her existence. I admit that at times, I don’t feel ease due to some personal reasons. Generation gap plays a part, I think. Actually, I have no concerns over it. I do feel displeasure, because my mum-in-law is not able to commit her time to take of Adriel. I shouldn’t say so. Parents are the key persons…I do not have the right to feel displeasure. Ok…Let me elaborate…We were to attend an event (held only once in a few years). Tickets had been paid for. I did not want to miss the opportunity. We had informed my mum-in-law a few weeks prior to the event. She agreed to take care of Adriel. However, she arranged with her friends to go Malaysia. At that point of time, I was fuming. She asked us to bring Adriel over to my maternal family. My mother is not able to walk very well…and she doesn’t know how to take care of babies. Fortunately, my sister-in-law gave a helping hand. Actually, my mum-in-law is not obliged to take care of Adriel. It is our responsibility. I must learn to accept this fact. She takes care of Adriel…all out of good will. Thank God for revealing this to me. I’m blessed to have her around. Adriel too, is blessed to have her as her granny. Yes, Adriel will grow…She will soon become independent and doesn’t need us anymore. As long as she is safe and healthy…that’s what I pray for. This coming Dec, we will be bringing her to Melbourne, Australia for a holiday. We will be self-driving. Hopefully, she is able to adapt the long distance travelling. I know she is able to do it because she is our daughter…she has our genes; daddy and mummy both like long distance travelling. I’m planning to let her have all her vaccinations first e.g. rotavirus, pneumococcal before leaving for the trip. 8 Days 6 Nights Melbourne…I can’t wait for the day to come…:)
