The number, 13…some people believe that it is an inauspicious number.

This number first appeared during my visit to the hospital. I was supposed to make an appointment for an ultrasound scan on my breast (an abnormality detected during the last ultrasound scan). The nurse told me that the only day available was on the 13th of Jun. I realised that it was Friday the thirteen. I didn’t give a damn as I found it rather ridiculous to believe it was an inauspicious day. I believe that it was just pure coincidence that this number actually recurred a few times thereafter…My colleague counted the number of 13 people who left my department. Oops…again! I dreaded hearing this number because I knew my appointment to undergo the ultrasound scan was approaching. One day, I was browsing through the newspaper when the same number appeared – Contestant 13 was the new reigning Miss Singapore Universe. And, I almost left with 13 days of annual leave…not yet though! Tomorrow, my little piggy will be 13-month old. Hahaha! So many of such ridiculous encounters! I believe nothing else except DaddyGod. So be it - an inauspicious day or number. There is not single chance to harm me in any ways.

Went for my detailed scan at TMC…Little mousy was in perfect condition. Praise the Lord! I could see her heart, her brain, her kidneys, etc. I was so amazed by God’s creation. Praise the Lord once again! I’m so blessed. Little mousy looked so chubby…Aiyo!!!…her cheeks…I think she knew we were looking at her. Throughout the session, she kept moving. Haha! Time flies! In a few months’ time, my precious little mousy will be out…to see her daddy and mummy, grandpa and granny, and this beautiful landscape created by our Almighty DaddyGod. I pray for her good health and protection over the strategies of the evil ones. Amen.

Two weeks had just slipped by mercilessly since Adriel turned one. Will upload her photos soon. I have been rather weary due to my current pregnancy. Excuses!!! Hehe. Blame the heartburn that I have been suffering lately. I really felt terrible…especially at night. My appetite for dinner has decreased tremendously. No choice at times! I still have to eat or else I will be faced with a "Bao Gong" if I reject my meal. I don’t remember having terrible heartburn when I had Adriel. Little mousy is a mischievous one. But, I do like mischievous behaviour…Hehe! Just like my late Jack Russell…mischievous but lovable. I don’t really like dogs that are too pampered or gentle. I miss him though. What am I talking here? Don’t think it is appropriate to compare a dog and a human being. It’s time to search for old photos and blog it up here. Besides my 2 beautiful daughters, I hope to put up photos of my 2 lovable dogs here so that they will always be kept in memories.
