Letting Go
I had been tossing and sleepless for the past 2 nights, hence I got to rely on sleeping pills. In fact, I'm feeling down lately. Sigh! I think it's not important anymore. God comforted me. I'm grateful. I'm letting go. I'm also grateful to those who care for me unconditionally. However, some had adversely affected me. I don't care anymore. People come and people go. I have done enough. I had been refraining myself from hurting others and somehow, I was hurt.I always think that I'm inmature, hence my marriage at times was on the rock. I always rely on my hubby. I ought to learn to be independent. Somehow, our marriage has a different set of expectations, that's why I'm behaving that way.God reviewed something to me. Commitment is what keeps a marriage intact. Some people are unrealistically looking for a marriage where there are no differences of views, values or personal preferences. If there is such a marriage, it would be most boring. There can never be a perfect marriage between two imperfect human beings. Apart from being different from each other, we are also selfish beings. A lot of martial problems are actually resulted from our selfish thoughts and actions. The "give and take" attitude or to "exercise forbearance" may mitigate the problem but they can never prevent a divorce. Only commitment is the vital component to make a marriage last. A couple must stick with each other no matter what happens and tenaciously abide by the credo "till death do us part". To be committed to stick together through thick and thin is very frustrating and vexing. I have experienced it.I'm working hard to maintain a healthy marriage. Only my hubby feels it and see my efforts. God too. I still feel I'm blessed. Thank you Father in heaven. I'm sinful and yet you forgive me. I will keep in mind Your Words; especially to forgive and to let go bitterness. Sadly, I have no control over what others think and feel about me. Anyway, it's not important anymore.
