Summer Holiday
It’s about time…it’s almost time to return home…I’m already missing home, my family and friends and my dog. Time flies. I’ll back soon. Not sure how’s work at office. Hopefully, everything goes on smoothly.
Currently, I don’t wish to think of the hectic life I’ll be having in the next couple of months. I’m enjoying now…those delicious delicacies…making me drooling several times…those cheap and exquisite stuff…I’m so tempted to buy but afraid that my luggage will be overweight…The rules and regulations at the airport are rather strict. You know…I’ll stopping over at Bangkok for a couple of days. I’m sure I’ll exceed my budget while I’m over in Bangkok.
In fact, I’m really exhausted. I have been walking quite a distance. My father-in-law has to buy materials for his design…the market is so huge here…many varieties…and fanciful…the patterns …the designs…the accessories…it’s an eye opening indeed. It was a smart move...father-in-law set-up his factory here. The things are damn cheap. I bought a pearl necklace at only a dollar (SGD) here. I had previously bought a similar but shorter one, at 8 dollars back in Singapore. However, in Hong Kong, the things are fared higher…their food too, prices are comparable with Singapore. I took an express train which took me 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive at Hong Kong. It was an experience. I like the place…the people…I like their taste of fashion…trendy. I tried the “Chou Dou Fu”…it stank but tasted delicious. It was a pity that I spent only a day to tour the island. I will go again in due time.
We’re having a summer holiday this time of the season. The weather is warm and dry. The temperature goes up to an approximate of 37 deg. I should have made arrangement to come here end of the year…winter season. Anyway, I have enjoyed every minutes…every seconds…I’ll be leaving for Bangkok tomorrow. I’ll definitely miss this place…

Audrey/Eve: I couldn’t find the boots you wanted. Now is summer season…display is limited…most of them are pointed-toe which you may not like…I can’t find mine too…sob :(

Sick Merlion
I was on bed for more than 20 hrs. I was terribly ill...vomitted countless times and suffered diarrhoea. I woke up several times, vomitting everything that I had eaten and drunk on that day. I was very weak to walk...I took medicine very 2 hrs because the pain was unbearable. The pills were ineffective. My head was spinning while I pulled myself up, got dressed and went to see a doctor. I did not know what I had eaten. The doctor confirmed that I suffered from food poisoning. However, the pain still didn't go away after taking the medicine prescribed by the doctor. I cried out in pain. Hubby was patiently applying ointment oil on my stomach. I was thankful that he was by my side. The pain has subsided. And, I feel well now...not fully recovered but at least, I can walk...Thank God!
