My Pregnancy Journal -- Part 7
Went for my check-up on Monday. Everything came out fine. My weight remained unchanged though I was already in my 6-month pregnancy. This time round, I could actually figure out baby's features through the ultrasound scan. Amazing, rite!I'm becoming paranoid over my food nowadays. I'm trying to reduce my carbo and sugar intake...though sometimes, cravings just hit me...I'll just eat. I'm losing my appetite again. I was sick for the past few days. The phlegm kept choking me. My sleep had been interrupted badly. Poor thing huh! These days, I'm suffering from heartburn as well. The medicine which my gynae prescribed did not help much. I have been consuming ENO which does the wonder...it relieves the burning sensation. Now, I'm also trying to consume more servings of fruits and vegetables...hopefully, I'm able to do so. Have been feeling guilty for not consuming enough fruits and vegetables :( It is so unhealthy. Her movements are getting frequent nowadays and I'm filled with joys whenever she does so. She would response to us. Can't imagine that time flies and my life of motherhood is nearing...I'm so excited. I'm so eager to see her personally. May God bless us!

Welcome Year 2007
Yippy! It's Year 2007. Happy New Year! I'm filled with joys and excitement...Soon, I'm going to see my baby girl. :)
I went to the zoo last weekend. I had not been to the zoo for quite some time. Fortunately, it was a fine day. It was fun. Distinctively remember the baboons...their butts are red...hehe! I like the polar bears...so sad if they are going to extinct...due to human acts resulting in global warming. I think they will be sent off soon. They should go back to where they suppose to be...Singapore isn't suitable for them due to our humid weather. Panda...didn't have the chance to see one here. I like panda too. This was interesting. I stroked a kangeroo. She was eating away and didn't really bother about us. Personally, I feel that those animals are such poor things to put in captivity. They should be released back to the wild. Somehow, it is greener and it has a larger landscape out there. During our visit, most of the animals were lazing around/sleeping. Were they taking their afternoon nap? It was such a excellent weather. Or basically, the space just limited their movement. The surroundings looked similar somehow.
It was a tiring day out but enjoyable. On our way back, we saw rainbow...and not one but two...one above another. It was a rare sighting. Later that night, all went to my house. Sob! I lost $48 in mahjong. The day before, I lost $20. In total, I lost $68. There was just no luck. Somehow, it was just a gathering...so what's a big deal. Most importantly, my friends enjoyed themselves. During the weekend, I also exercised alot. I had gone for a stroll at East Coast Park...and at the zoo, I walked throughout without taking the tram. Hopefully, I'll be having a smooth delivery. May God bless me!
