Life of Motherhood
Didn’t expect to come that far…It is a painful experience, yet it gives me a sense of satisfactory…a sense of joy. I really have to thank hubby for the support that he has given me. Adriel will be turning 6 months old this coming Saturday. I’m glad that I have come that far…surely, it is not an easy journey…I was sick countless times…high fever, stomach upset, gastric pain, migraine….The feeling was unbearable. Because of Adriel, I went all my way…I endured the pain, rejected medications until I couldn’t take it and gave up. And, I couldn’t stop blaming myself for not providing her the best. I cried numerous times because of my poor health. I just wanted to give Adriel the best milk in the world. Many times, I just wanted to give up. However, whenever I see my little Adriel, growing stronger, heavier, and taller each day…all thanks to my milk…it makes me persevering till the end. But, at times people just don’t get to see my good intention. I think I shouldn’t be too bothered at all. I’m doing what a mother should do -- giving the best of the best to her children. I just hope things are picking up…and my time can be well managed by then. Adriel has just started weaning…It is just so fun feeding her rice cereal and fruit puree. Every week, we will introduce to her a new taste. I can tell…she is enjoying. And, she loves apples. Haha! Last week, hubby and I actually started a mini factory at home…we actually bought some organic apples from the supermarket, steaming them and blending them into puree. We also tried some organic carrots. Wow! This actually saves $$$. I’m going to try avocado this weekend.
Adriel had fallen ill over the weekend. Poor girl…She had coughs and phlegm…And, she had a fever on Sunday. Brought her to the GP twice…And guess what, my this little rascal, though she was sick…she actually woke up at 4 this morning, playing by herself. Not sure what she can actually do in the dark…this reminds me of Night Safari where animals roam in the dark. But it didn’t bother me so much because I was still in my dreamland. However, I did check on her at times. I’m already suffering from sleep deprivation. She started her crankiness at around 7 in the morning. Sigh! That’s life of motherhood.Almost forgot...We spotted two teeth popping out...hahahaha! So cute! Will put up photos if I manage to capture them.
