Written on 30 Oct 06I was pissed off with some people out there…it was getting on my nerves. It was frustrating. Anyway, I have to remain calm…there is a life in me. We have to face each other almost everyday. I think I must not let such person affect me. I must enjoy my pregnancy.Yes, this is update from my last gynae’s visit. No abnormalities so far…Thank God! Baby was 7.68cm. The heartbeat was as beautiful as ever. In 4 weeks’ time, I will be taking my blood test to determine my general health. I also opted to take the "Down Syndrome" test for my little one. I have been praying to God to watch over my precious one. Seriously, I think I have too little faith in God. I must learn to trust God wholeheartedly. I have been reminding myself that God will take away my pain and worries…so what’s there to worry? Dear friends, please pray for me.
As usual, I have not gained back my appetite. Some foods really turn me off. I’m still having dizzy spells. And, I’m still feeling fatigue. My tummy is starting to show a little now. However, I’m still not prepared to wear any of the maternity clothes yet. I have intermittent cramps too. I read from the Internet this is due to the expansion of my womb. At times, the pain and itch have caused me insomnia. I must thank God…my hubby is always there for me. Though there are so many of these discomforts that I need to bear, I’m determined to continue my journey until my precious baby arrives to this world…healthily and completely whole. May God bless me!Written on 23 Oct 06
Baby…I’m going to see you soon…May God bless us!
Written on 17 Oct 06I guess I’m too sensitive. I feel weak, fatigue…The haze has affected my health. And, it has also kept me from outdoor activities. I need some fresh air. Every night, I feel giddy. I can sleep at ease only by facing left…it promotes more oxygen flow to the foetus...I think. In this way, I won’t feel drowsy. However, I tend to wake up a few times in the night to answer my nature’s calls. It is a hassle. I guess I have to bear with it. I’m having a new status now…I must get myself ready to take on more challenges in due time. This is just the beginning. Hopefully, my health won’t deteriorate further. May God bless my unborn child and me. I’m visiting my gynae next Monday. Yippy! :)Written on 11 Oct 06I’m feeling unwell. The haze has affected me greatly. I had a migraine attack on Monday. My head was throbbing, yet I didn’t take my medication, afraid that it would be too strong for my foetus. I tell myself I must take care of myself…not to stress myself, but I can’t seem to act accordingly. My appetite doesn’t seem to improve at all and hence, I often have gastric pain. My morning sickness, compared to its occurrence 2-3 times in the late afternoon previously, now it takes place throughout the day. I feel sick. No matter what, I’m willingly to take on these challenges. Currently, I’m abit stressed out…I do not want to involve myself in those policies again. It is too stressful for me to think about it. Some ******** systems out there are driving me crazy… I think I have to change my perspectives in order not to stress myself out. I guess this is my only way out at this moment.Written on 05 Oct 06There is still a long way to go…I feel fatigue most of time, and giddy too. My precious one is already 9 weeks old…reaching 10 weeks soon. I went to my gynae last Monday. It was so amazing to see my little precious, growing bit by bit…by 3.4cm, compared to my last visit; he/she was only measured at 0.78cm. Hubby and I were delighted to see our precious one through the ultrasound…wonderfully and uniquely created by God, and in me. We listened to baby’s heartbeat…it was so beautiful. We were thrilled, and anticipated to experience a new beginning. I thank God for watching over my unborn child, and me. He is currently my confidant whom I shared my fears and thoughts with…He knows me best…Currently, I still suffer lost of appetite…my morning sickness kicks in in late afternoon. So, at least I still able to come to work. My next gynae appointment will be on the 23rd of Oct. I’m excited…Written on 13 Sep 06A new beginning…a new life…I’m full of anticipation…eagerness…how would one feel to become a mother? The day finally arrived. I couldn’t believe my eyes…the test kit showed positive. There was a moment of silence as I was trying to think rationally..."Am I pregnant?" I broke the news to hubby and he was delighted. At that moment, I had some mixed feelings…it was indescribable. Somehow, I was feeling insecure, frightened…I became more sensitive…I was not yet physically prepared, financially prepared even though, I had been mentally prepared. However, there is this joy in my heart…God has answered my prayers and I’m really thankful. This child is a gift from Him. I went to my gynae the next day. And, he confirmed my pregnancy. Yes, I’m expecting and my little one is already 6 weeks old. I could see my child…so tiny yet amazing through the ultrasound scan and I could even listen to the heartbeat. It was so beautiful. The gender is not known yet. It doesn’t matter whether a boy or a girl…most importantly, you are my child…you belong to us. Hubby has been instructing me not to do certain things and not to eat certain food. For the sake of the child, I listen to every single advice and do things very carefully. The first trimester is considered the most critical. I would like to apologise that I have not announced to friends yet. At this moment, I’m suffering from indigestion, swelling breasts, lost of appetite, gastric pains and cramping. I will continue to pray hard. Mummy is full of anticipation to see you. Daddy too.
