A Day To Remember
6th of Sep 2006 was a special day. This day, my brother and his girlfriend finally solemnised at the Registry of Marriage. I was happy for him. It was a quiet afternoon as there were not many couples…perhaps it was a weekday. There weren’t any relatives attending the solemnisation ceremony…only family members and a close friend of my brother’s. It was simple. Over the years, my parents have suffered a lot…They have been showering us with unconditional love, care and concern, no matter rain or shine. This day, I could actually see the contentment on their wrinkled face. All their beloved children have already grown up and found themselves a lifetime partner. I really hope they remain happy and healthy…and most importantly, receive God’s salvation. My parents had a hard life. I couldn’t provide them a materialistic living… but could give them only my love, care and concern.
