Baby Language
Yesterday, I heard Adriel was calling me…Maaa Meee….Maaa Meee…I was overjoyed. She is learning to talk, definitely…slowly but steady. She is pretty accurate, greeting me…compared to her language she is currently using (baby language), you may find it difficult to understand…Most of the time, you can hear only "baa baa, mum mum, pi poo pi poo, ah ah, paa paa". By the way, there is another word that she can pronounce accurately and that is "moleeee". Whenever she uses that word, she would definitely point at the mole on my face. Adriel is a "clean freak" by the way (inherited from my genes…hehe!). She likes to pick up tiny pieces of paper or dirt on the floor. When she was younger, she mistook my mole as dirt. Hence, she would try to remove it from my face. So, no matter how hard she tried, the "dirt" just couldn’t be removed. Ouch! Poor me! I actually had to endure her pinch. Imagine her sharp fingernails! Dear friends, please don’t try to study my mole ok! It is still intact and not out of shape…hehe! I must really thank DaddyGod. Everyday, Adriel does not fail to surprise me with her developments and I’m really proud of that. Thank you DaddyGod, for this wonderful gift. Adriel, thank you for making me a joyful mother. Mummy will always love you.

Nasty Guy Wearing Grey T-Shirt and Blue Jeans
If I had known earlier, I wouldn’t have gone to Marina Square. It was a Sunday and there was a PC show at Suntec City. After church service, hubby and I decided to go to Marina Square. Blame on my ignorance! We should avoid the convention hall as there was expected a huge crowd. Not sure why! We chose to take that route. Perhaps, that was the only route that I knew that could bring us to Marina Square. I was walking right behind hubby and he was pushing the pram. Adriel was sleeping at that time. We were walking very slowly due to the congested human traffic over at the convention hall. Suddenly, a guy came by and slapped hubby on his right hand. Hubby was shocked. Soon after, he cut across ahead of us, trying to make his way to the left side. Before we could react, this guy kicked our pram and then, a small argument broke out in the midst of the crowd. Hubby gave him a push or somewhat, hubby was trying to defend from his attack which that guy failed to do so and fell backwards. He seemed to rush to somewhere and left soon after. Hubby wanted to chase after him but I stopped him in time. I just wanted to leave the matter as it was. However, I was damn pissed off with his nasty behaviour. How could you vent your anger on a kid? What if the pram flips and injures my little Adriel? Are you going to pay me back a child? I won’t let you off if that really happens. Luckily, this incident didn’t affect Adriel much as she was still in her dreamland when the incident happened. Let’s hope we won’t meet again.

Pregnancy #2 Journal 2
Went for my check-up on Monday…Praise the Lord! Little mousy is in a pink of health. She is currently weighing 1192 grams ;) So happy to hear her heartbeat and view her from the screen. Little mousy…daddy, mummy and jie jie are waiting for your arrival and DaddyGod is watching over you…you will arrive safely. I’m looking forward to September, the expected month of my delivery. So excited! I have no fear in this pregnancy. DaddyGod will be in the delivery suite with me to ensure His children are in safe hands. I have no worries at all because I’m blessed, in the Name of Jesus.
So, I’m into my 26 weeks of pregnancy. Another 14 more weeks to go…Hooray! Endure…endure…endure……I pray…no more aching legs, no more heartburn…no more phlegm in my throat and my back, hopefully it won’t deteriorate. Or else, I will not be spared from all those office politics. However, if that really happens, I won’t hesitate to condemn all those accusations in the Name of Jesus. I had been accused before. The feeling was terrible. I pray in Psalm 91…
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation."
Amen.
