My Pregnancy Journal -- Part 3
It's a wonderful experience. Every now and then, I can feel my baby's movement. It is simply so amazing. Time flies...I'm already 4 months into my pregnancy. I'm learning to wear maternity clothes now. Somehow, I feel weird. I'm too concerned about how people see me as an expecting mother...Haha! This is something new to me.Yesterday, I visited my gynae (Dr Koh). It was a long wait because he had an emergency operation. Poor me! I was damn hungry. I did not eat anything since morning...Hubby asked me not to as I had to take my blood test. It might affect the results. Hence, I just drank mineral water to curb my hunger. I was feeling terrible. Upon arrival, I went to take my weight and blood pressure. Surprisingly, my weight remained unchanged. ??? There were 3 test tubes needed to fill up with my blood. I glimpsed at the syringe...damn frightening! I looked away when the nurse was drawing the blood from me. Finally, the ordeal was over but was later informed that there was not enough blood to fill the last test tube. Suddenly, the world just collapsed on me and there was a total darkness...Huh??? Why??? I almost fainted. I extended my other arm and there came the syringe again. It was finally over. I rushed to the nearest food court to have my meal. Finally, it was time to see my baby through the ultrasound. The heartbeat was as beautiful as ever. Then, it was time to differentiate the gender. We were informed that it was a "M"...Haha! Then, he added that the "M" he was referring to "Miss World". Haha! Dr Koh really has a good sense of humor. So, my precious one is a "Girl". No matter a boy or a girl, our child will be loved wholeheartedly...and I pray that she is healthy and completely whole upon her arrival. Hubby and I are waiting for this special day :)
