Time flies. After 3 weeks of hospitalisation leave, I was finally back to work. The same old feeling…upon reaching my destination…SIANZ!!! Perhaps, it was a Monday. Everyone seemed suffering from blues. And then came this @#$&*# who stepped in early, worsening our day at work. I really can’t stand the sight of her. Not even a second or so. The past 3 weeks were a total breather for me, definitely. I just have to bear a few months more…
I’m about 12 weeks into my pregnancy. This is my first entry though, relating my experience on second pregnancy. Sadly, it was unexpected. I felt no joy when I first tested positive early this year. Many things had happened and I felt the timing was not right….Adriel was still so young too. I actually missed my menses for almost 2 months before I decided to go for a test. I did not want to face the reality and wanted to concentrate on my family problems first. But the symptoms that I experienced prompted me to do it fast so that I could avoid any mishaps. During the first trimester, I was hospitalised due to threatened abortion. I had been given 3 jabs to stabilise my pregnancy. I was ordered a bed rest too. Little mousy…please forgive mummy…mummy is too stressed. Yes, I was indeed too stressed…my work…my family. I’m also suffering from fatigue. Perhaps, I’m an anaemia sufferer. I’m also suffering from sensitivity skin on face…dry flakes and red patches which itch at times. Cramps and morning sickness are unavoidable for expectant mother like me. Hopefully, these will end soon when I’m into my second trimester. I welcome this little life and will love him/her with all my might. God, please bless this child with good health. I thank God for once again, giving me this gift of love and making me a joyful mother. I anticipate to see him/her grow each day in my womb and to be embraced in my arms soon.
